Positives: The Hotel circle location is obviously the best place to stay in San Diego. I always stay in Hotel circle so that’s a given of any property there. I also liked the free parking

Negatives: Well we got there at 2pm and we weren’t able to check in until 3:40 (check-in starts at 3:00) due to them not having any rooms cleaned or ready. Aside from that we had a few ants in our room and the hot water ran out on the 2nd night so we had to shower with cold water on what was a pretty chilly night

Positives: Pool area was good

Negatives: Not well lit rooms . No elevators. Shower curtain fell off immediately but were not fixed even during 2 night stay. No hot water for bath at 7 am. Clearly booking.com was overcharging for quality of stay provided. Locally rates were lower at the hotel. Location not so much of value add as you anyway need to take your car for attractions

Positives: The bed was comfortable, room spacious, bathroom tub resurfaced, bathroom fixtures upgraded, refrigerator and microwave, free and ample parking, helpful and professional staff, clean pool and fun music ambiance, on site restaurant and convenience store, location, price, value for the the room cost, lots of mirrors, vanity, Starbucks coffee for the in room coffee maker, lighting fixtures, tv with cable, wood laminate flooring, parking lot security lights, vintage vibe, clean property, every other day turndown service.

Negatives: Small / not enough bed pillows, spiders and bugs on bedding and throughout the room, after hour & early morning noise & loitering from other hotel guests, stained towels, room wasn’t ready at check in time, old/poor air conditioner unit.
