Positives:
It was walkable to good shops and restaurants. Elevator is fast. Parking is convenient. Bathroom door is super squeaky and wakes the other person up. Breakfast setup was decent. Very good coffee, pastries, muffins, cereal and bagels. Cute decor in rooms. They did provide water and cups which was nice.
Negatives:
Carpet on decks needs replacement and there are stairs where there should be ramps to roll suitcases. Parking is very expensive. Bathroom door is super squeaky and wakes the other person up. TVs are very difficult to set use and I work in the video biz. We were woken by other guests at night and in the morning. No view at all in room and there are slat blinds that don’t block the outdoor light at night so room stays a little bright all night. No fridge in the cabinet and no table under the mirror in the room to put on makeup so you have to use the bathroom.

Great location. A ton of options for food and shopping. Easy walk to fisherman’s wharf. The pool was a huge hit, we swam every day. Felt like a very safe neighborhood, we walked a ton and never felt uncomfortable.

Not as advertised. The hotel was super overpriced for what it offered. In addition there was NO HOUSEKEEPING!!! - When asked the lady who did not provide any apology said that we should have requested it in advance!!

The staff at this hotel are fantastic. Very helpful with any questions or accommodations during our stay. They did their absolute best at all times and all roles. The location was perfect for us as we were mostly there to sightsee with our 2 kids under 10. The room was spacious and we got an "upgrade" to a suite with a microwave and kitchenette. The price seemed very accessible and the property is well kept and very secure. I liked the parking option, though we did not have a car this trip.
Negatives:
Our upgrade meant that we did not get separate spaces for the kids and the parents it was a fold out couch in the same large space with no privacy. The images on the site were from the previous hotel or extremely staged because the charm was missing and the pool side vibe was very different. We didn't get to use the pool at all because it was missing the heated element which was a big disappointment to our kids. The one night we tried to enjoy the fire pit there was no gas 5 minutes in and there was an issue with the refill can. Breakfast was definitely Continental Style and had no options for allergies so this amenity was unavailable to us. The biggest issue was the lack of air conditioning in our room. We travelled in March so it wasn't hot but it was stuffy and not comfortable for sleep. They brought is 2 floor units but that made a very small dent in the temperature of the very large room.
